These are the earliest pictures of Nuns' Island during the time of it's original purchase by Quebec Home and Mortgage company, then owned by the Remer and Gewurz families.
Today, Quebec Home is known as Nuns' Island Investments and is still the primary landowner on Nuns' Island. Furthermore, with the cooperative arrangement with it's development partner Proment Corp, it has been the major builder of condominiums, townhouses and single family homes on the Island.
